Thanks Ruba for an excellent coverage of the two sessions and most important was the speed in putting the results on your website. It was extremly helpful
Issam Chalabi
I couldn’t agree more with Mr Ichalabi comment, excellent coverage as usual by Ruba Husari. But still I hoped we get some conclusion and analysis of the results. Unlike the situation in the 1st bid round when much of the “blame game” was directed towards the Ministry of Oil for being unreasonable in its strict hard terms, although the results of the first round were successful, how about the evaluation of results of this second round? Even more, there were no bidders on three promising fields, why? And the absence of prequalified American companies!!
Hello Ruba,
Thank your for this informative report. Could you or Mr Issam Al-Chalabi (Who I want to ask him how is his brother Samir?) give us analysis on the impact of recent oil contracts on the iraqi politics and also on the foreign companies.
thank you
